WAY OF UNDERSTANDING THE ELECTRONIC CULTURE: FROM THE VIRTUAL MUSEUM TO THE HACKER ETHIC

Abstract

The article describes the different approaches to the understanding of e-culture. When the definition of e-culture, can be used an integrated approach, in which she is seen by the author as a part of the culture represented in digital form. This may be a virtual collection or, for example, net art. Electronic culture can be regarded as a set of practical skills, which must master the modern man. In this case, the electronic culture is manifested in: the ability to find the necessary data in different sources of information; the ability to use in their work computer technology; the ability to allocate in their professional activities and information processes to manage them; in the possession of the basis of analytical information processing and more. We can also consider the electronic culture in the value-ethical implications, as part of the general culture of the person.
